About our Kids Learning

Kids Learning Loft ABA Services, PLLC provides exceptional, personalized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for children ages 2 to 14 years old and a variety of  skill levels. We're big enough to serve, small enough to care – delivering the highest quality ABA intervention with a focus on individual needs and compassionate support.

Our Team

JENNIFER KOURASSANIS-VELASQUEZ

PhD, BCBA-D, NYS Licensed Psychologist, NYS Licensed Behavior Analyst – Chief Executive Officer

Jennifer Kourassanis-Velasquez, PhD is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctorate and New York State licensed psychologist with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Her research has focused on innovative approaches to teaching social skills to children with autism, including the use of video modeling and peer-mediated interventions.

Dr. Jennifer has extensive experience serving as a consultant for school districts in Nassau County, where she has spearheaded initiatives in classroom restructuring, staff training, functional behavior assessments, and the development of individualized behavior intervention plans. She is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor at The Chicago School of Psychology, sharing her expertise with future practitioners.

Driven by a deep commitment to improving the lives of individuals with autism, Dr. Jennifer’s primary focus is on early identification and intervention. She is passionate about conducting comprehensive ASD evaluations and creating tailored interventions that foster optimal outcomes for children and their families.

CHRISTINE VANNI

MAT, BCBA, NYS Licensed Behavior Analyst – Chief Clinical Officer

Christine is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst with over 12 years of experience in the field of applied behavior analysis. She graduated from the CUNY Queens College in 2008. She holds her Masters in Elementary Education and advanced certification in Special Education and Applied Behavior Analysis. Christine is the Chief Clinical Officer of Velanni Behavior Services and Kids Learning Loft Applied Behavior Analysis Services PLLC. She has provided ABA services across various settings, including community, home, clinic, and public schools. She is knowledgeable in various aspects relating to autism and developmental disabilities and has a passion for providing intervention to assist children in achieving their full potential. Christine has experience in teaching a broad range of skills such as parent training, teaching language/functional communication skills, academic skills, social skills, self-help skills, staff training, and increasing positive behaviors.  

She has experience working as an adjunct professor teaching several courses in the BACB course sequence at National University and Purdue University Global. Christine lives in Ponte Vedra, Florida, where she enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends.

VICTORIA ADAMS

MA, BCBA – Clinical Supervisor

Victoria graduated from St. Francis College with a BA in Psychology and an MA in Applied Behavioral Psychology, then completed her post Master’s advanced certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis at Queens College. Victoria completed a Master’s practicum in an early intervention center and has experience working with children ages 2-10 diagnosed with ASD, ADHD, and ODD. She loves watching her clients gain skills that help them become more independent! Outside of ABA, she enjoy spending time walking her dogs and crocheting.
